What Comprises A Comprehensive Hypnosis Training

Hypnotherapy methodology has two major categories: suggestion therapy and uncovering methods. ALL STYLES (i.e. Ericksonian, Alchemical, Advanced Regression Therapy, etc.) of hypnotherapy breakdown to be a form of one, or a combination of both.

Suggestion therapy is basically, saturating the mind with the right thinking to bring about behavior modification, i.e. stop smoking. Uncovering methods are for the discovering and healing of the subconscious "cause" of the problem. While this is a simplification, there are dozens and dozens of methods for accomplishing either category. And you simply won't be prepared to help people address all problems by attending a basic, brief and superficial training program that does NOT provide you with comprehensive instruction in both categories.

What Comprises A Comprehensive Guided Imagery Training

This certification program provides a strong base in understanding and practicing a variety of imagery techniques. The Training will give you all the basic tools to help clients with imagery.

It also includes a foundation of information with a glance into the use of imagery throughout the ages, using different kinds of imagery and how imagery relates to the Mind/Body Connection.

You will learn when to use imagery for a variety of issues such as...

How to prepare clients for imagery.
How to get clients to visualize when they claim they can't.
How to help clients use their own inner guidance system.
How to develop hypnotic suggestions from the imagery process.
And more!
There are plenty of experientials, demonstrations, and practice, so you will feel ready and confident to use imagery with clients!

Three Things to Consider In Choosing A Training

What is the curriculum? Is everything included that you need to learn? How in depth is the training?

2) Who is the Instructor/Trainer? Are they an expert? Do they have real world practical knowledge or are they just a great instructor? You should choose a training with an instuctor that is still seeing clients.

3) There are no state or government certification agencies. Certification is not a legal requirement in order to practice hypnosis or guided imagery. Certification is strictly a voluntary process that many individuals seek to establish an aura of confidence in their credentials. There are many certification agencies out there. Many certification groups have official sounding names that would lead you to believe they are government agencies. They are not.
